Pacific Rim Mechanical provided installation of the HVAC and plumbing systems for this $65,000,000, 149,000 sq. ft. university educational facility which included classrooms, labs and auditoriums. Hydronic utilities were fed from an existing campus central plant. Hydronic piping systems included HHW, CHW, HPS/LPS and PCR. The plumbing installation includes bio-waste, tie-in of lab furnishings, plumbing fixtures, and domestic water piping. The ductwork installation includes multiple air handlers rated up to 43,310 CFM. Galvanized and stainless steel ductwork, fume exhaust fans, sound attenuators, VAV/CAV boxes, and DDC temperature controls were all part of the scope of work.
